2Last October13, 2025, Duke Ommert, a fourth grader at Brookwood Elementary was struck by a car while crossing Lee Blvd after an afternoon of playing with friends. He was rushed to Overland Park Regional Hospital and later transferred by ambulance to Children's Mercy Downtown.
Duke passed away today, please pray for Duke Ommert for his soul.
