The New Family Faith Formation Process
The New Family Faith Formation Process will replace last years PREP program. Family Formation equips the parents in our parish to pass on the Catholic Faith to their children enabling them to grow in their faith together as a family. Family Faith Formation is an active process that will allow parents to experience community in the parish, find support among other Catholic parents, and learn, experience, and grow in their own faith along with their children in response to God’s presence, grace, and love. Family Faith Formation will consist of: 1. Online religious education classes using My Catholic Faith Delivered 2. In-class meetings with children every 8 weeks and parent sessions at the same time 3. Quarterly Family Faith Learning Sessions 4. Weekly Mass Attendance 5. Church Service Activities including Parish Mission 6. Participation in Sacraments 7. Attendance at Diocesan Eucharistic Congress.
